Fix the Problems Before They Become Problems!

Did you know that the vast majority of computer problems can be identified and corrected before they have any negative effect on your organization? But there is a catch: you have to constantly monitor the signals, and you have to know how to interpret those signals. Most organizations simply do not have the time, resources or expertise to monitor computer hardware.

Master Computing’s Proactive Prevention Plan (PPP) is designed to fill this gap and keep your organization running smoothly. Here’s just a sample of what is included:

For each workstation:

On initial PPP setup, each workstation is inventoried, documented, and setup for remote access. Then, through that remote access, we verify software updates, anti-virus installation and updates, verify and/or install a data backup system, and put many other monitoring/prevention systems in place. After the initial setup is complete, we remotely monitor each system and look for the signs of impending disaster. If/when those signs are detected, preventive measures are taken to correct the problems . . . before they become problems!

For the servers:

One of the keys to a trouble free computer network is proper documentation. Our first step is to survey the entire network and document each piece of hardware. With that task complete, we run each server through a program very similar to the Workstation program outlined above, with much more frequent and careful monitoring, as well as a few other steps required to handle the complexities of a network server.

Privacy and Security

While remote access to your computers is a very efficient way of offering support, we are very sensitive to the security and privacy concerns of our clients. As we install our remote access software, we will also show you how to turn it on or off. Once it has been switched off on your end, we have absolutely no way of accessing your computers until you switch it back on. Once you have allowed us access to your computers, you will also be notified every time we connect. All of this will be demonstrated on initial setup.
