Did you know that a hard drive fails every 15 seconds?

This subject cannot be stressed enough! No organization can afford the risk of losing their data. But all too often backup procedures are not given their due respect. Backups cannot be “left and forgotten”. They need to be monitored and verified. They need to be located off-site. They need to be simple to maintain, simple to recover and restore. They need to be redundant.

How many backup systems are in place on your network? If it is less than two, it is not enough. How much critical data is located on individual workstations or laptops? Is that data being backed up?

How much is your data worth? In most cases, organizations who suffer catastrophic data loss are never able to fully recover. It is typically the demise of the company.

Here’s the good news: data backups do not need to cost a fortune and can be very simple to operate. Each organization is unique, and after learning your specific needs we will recommend changes or improvements to your existing system (if needed), or build a solution from the ground up. This process does not have to be expensive or complicated!

As part of our Disaster Prevention Plan, we will monitor your backups for you. What a false sense of security it is to have a system in place that is not functioning. How sickening it feels to realize (when it’s too late) that the backup failed before the hard drive failed. We monitor backups on a daily basis (5 days/week). Do not burden your staff who have other important responsibilities with this absolutely critical process. The cost is minimal, and the benefit is priceless!
